Beginning late 1996, Violaine participated in the elaboration of the My Interactive TV concept. Over several weeks in 1997, she and Ali Bali cowrote the pilot episode which became Hypnosis.
Then began a long process of pre-production, casting, interviewing technicians, looking for locations, authorisations and permits and finally, the shoot.
At the completion of this project, she and Ali founded a web cartoon production company (3TOON) for which she was the co-owner and marketing director.
Ali created the My Interactive TV concept with Violaine. After many discussions about the most suitable style for the pilot episode, they began writing the scenario. Ali handled the film’s direction during the particularly intense 3-week shoot.
He then began the editing process for several months… (18 hours of rushes for approximately one hour of edited film, as well as discovering many restrictions due to the film’s interactive format!)
After this project, Ali created the web cartoon production company (3TOON) with Violaine where he was co-owner and artistic director.
